Horse Owners’ Guide to Equine Massage

This class is perfect for the horse owner who would like to help support their horse between treatments!

We will teach you the major muscles that you are able to help massage to keep your horse flexible, supple and healthy.

In this two day class, we will cover the following topics in class:

What is a muscle, what do they need to function and why do we need to massage them?
The locations, origins and insertions of some of the major muscles you can help take care of
The different types of massage movements and when to use each of them
Locating and drawing the muscles learned on the horse
Practicing the massage movements
Learning proper stretching techniques to accompany the massage.

While we can’t make you into a professional in a weekend, we can help you create a better understanding of your horses body and how to look after him/her! You will feel confident to go home and massage your own horses using the techniques taught in this class.

Our barn is heated, classroom cozy and horses are provided! No need to worry about hauling in the potentially inclement weather.

Cost: $525/ participant including all supplies & materials. ($100 deposit to hold spot)

Horse & Rider Biometrics

Wanted: 10 horses & riders who are ready to improve their performance, find their rhythm together and put in the work to become straight & sound!

If you are accepted, you will spend the weekend with us receiving:

a comprehensive before analysis of you, your horse and you together
a tailored session or two, to correct movement patterns
adjustments/ massage for you and your horse
anatomy & physiology session on the horse and movement
a full after analysis of you, your horse and you together that you are able to take home on a USB if you provide one

There’s a catch: we are looking for 10 special people who are willing to let us share some of their transformational footage in our blogs, website, Facebook page and promotional materials. You are someone who is open minded, ready to be a rock star and have your horse performing at his peak. You are willing to be a guinea pig and let us work our magic!

These spots are being offered at $600/ rider plus GST including lunch both days. This is a savings of $300! Applications now being accepted.
